LaMerite’s story began when my Grandmother Regina who was a widow at 34 years old with two young boy to raise was looking for a store to purchase because her previous retail store was destroyed by a fire.Her search led her to a store at 3118 South Grand Blvd., a general ready to wear women’s store with a small Bridal department.
